This year, BATJ Durga Puja will be held in Tokyo on Sunday, September 28th, 2025.
It is the actual Sasthi Puja day. It will be our 36th year of celebration in Tokyo.

You are cordially invited to join in the celebration.

A) DATE & TIME:
Sunday, September 28th, 2025, 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM.

B) PUJA VENUE:
OTA WARD CIVIC HALL APRICO,
Exhibition Hall in the Basement (B-1F)

Car parking: Please use paid parking of the Aroma Square Building attached to the APRICO Hall.
Please take the parking lot entrance no. 2 as marked on the attached map.

In addition, many large paid parkings are also available around the hall.

C) SCHEDULE:
1. Puja- 11:30 AM
2. Puspanjali & Prasad- 12:30 PM
3. Lunch- 1:00 PM
4. Cultural Program- 2:30 PM
5. Tea- 4:30 PM
6. Arati, Bisarjan & Baran- 4:30 PM
7. Dinner- 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM (only for Bengali Chanda and paid friends of BATJ Members)
8. Program ends- 8:30 PM

D) CHANDA PAYMENT & REGISTRATION METHOD:

THE LAST DAY FOR PAYMENT & REGISTRATION: TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16TH.

The number of people who can enter the hall is limited to 250 only and registration will be
accepted until this limit is reached. Therefore, joining will be on a First Come basis.

To join the Puja, you have to first make the Chanda payment by bank transfer to BATJ account.

Please note that from this year, BATJ has become a corporate registered entity with name-
"Ippansadanhoujin Indojin no Tsudoi" (BATJ)
and now has a new bank account at the GMO Aozora Net Bank (see detail below).
Old MUFG bank account has been closed.

After your payment, please send a reply to this email informing the name of the remitter and the
amount so that it can be checked and confirmed back to you. Please attach a copy of your bank
transfer confirmation slip or ATM transfer slip for ease of checking.

In your reply email, please also write your full name together with each family member's full name
for the sake of REGISTRATION. Please give the following detail in your reply-
1. Your name
2. Your spouse's name
3. Your children's name and age
4. Your Guests, if any. (separate payment needed for any guest)

The names will be checked at the reception desk before entering the hall on Puja day.
It will not be possible to participate without prior registration and chanda payment in the bank.

E) BATJ MEMBERS BENGALI CHANDA AMOUNT:
1. Bengali Family - Yen 12,000- (one spouse Bengali will be considered as a Bengali family)
2. Bengali Single- Yen 6,000-
3. For any visiting parents or relatives accompanying with you- Yen 3,000- per head

F) BATJ MEMBER'S NON BENGALI AND JAPANESE FRIENDS CHANDA AMOUNT:
BATJ Members can also invite their Non Bengali and Japanese friends to the Puja under the
following conditions-
1. If the friend will take only prasad & lunch and leave after the cultural program- Yen 1,500 per head
2. If the friend will take both lunch and dinner- Yen 3,000 per head
3. You can register individual names of your friends and make payment for them, OR,
you can ask the friend to make their payment and send their registration request by email to BATJ.

G) BATJ NEW BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS FOR CHANDA PAYMENT:

Please contact batjapan@gmail.com for the new bank account details.

H) FOOD ARRANGEMENT:
H-1: Prasad: Sweets, Fruits etc. served in Bento Boxes with carry bags.
You can eat at the hall or take it back home.

H-2: Lunch: Warm Kichuri Bhog served on Paper Plates (with mix. Veg Tarkari, Aloo Jhuri Bhaja,
Aachar, Papad, Chatni, Gulab Jamun (Vegetarian menu only)

Special note_
If someone doesn't take Kichuri (Rice) on Sasthi Puja day as a family custom, please indicate
that against that individual's name. Then, he/she will get some Luchi in place of kichuri.
Please do not ask for Luchi if you do not have any family custom.

H-3: Tea & Coffee: Self-service after the Cultural Program

H-4: Dinner: Served in Bento Boxes (Basanti Pulao, Chicken Tikka Masala (boneless), Chana with Keema & Laddu)

Special note-
If someone doesn't take either Rice or Chicken for dinner, please indicate that against that individual's name.
Then, he/she will get a vegetarian bento (Karaishutir Kachuri, Paneer Makhani, Chana-Aloo Tarkari & Laddu).

You can either eat your dinner bento in the hall or take it back home (carry bag will be provided).
